Our monthly dinner of the 1969 U. S. Grant class and the usaul suspects will be March 17th at 6:30 .If you haven’t been to one of these we invite you to come and enjoy the fellowship. We share news that fellow classmates like Mike Beatty are doing better after his recenct liver transplant or our own Vicki Sawyer Green is having more treatments but is a tremendous fighter. George Clooney was at our Christmas gathering and those 1969 hussies were throwing themselves at him like 8th grade hotties at the Taylor Park Dance.

On Monday Jan. 25th (Shirley Rogers Owens birthday) all of the U S Grant 1969 ers will meet at 6 pm to eat and swap whoppers or show pics of the pets and grandkids . Everyone is invited so come join the fun, heck you’re gonna eat anyway (you’ve already broke what vow you took Jan. 1 ) besides they have food for any diet. Merry Christmas to all
Many blessings have come our way this year.We have got to reconnect with old(pun intended) classmates and seen our future in keeping closer in touch. Pray for our classmates and any family who’ve lost loved ones or have severe illnes in their families……..of course we know some classmates have been bad girls or boys and will get nothing for Christmas but we love them anyway………………………………………..
English class came alive thanks to Mr. Watson , many didn’t get a chance to thank him but most are better persons because of his teaching.Our friend passed on November 25 , 2009.A memorial service will be Wednesday December 2 , 11 am at All Souls Episcopal Church( NW 63rd and Penn) across from Waterford

Our classmate Larry Winnard ,all around great guy is being honored by the Oklahoma Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame as an inductee for contributions in his liftime for wrestling in the state of Oklahoma .We’ve known what a great person Larry is for along time ,now the world will know.Congratulations to a very deserving General…………
